Welcome !

We are happy to welcome you on the homepage of the annual meeting of the GDR "Interdisciplinary Approaches for the study of Molecular Evolution".

This meeting will combine scientific presentations with forward-looking roundtable discussions in order to draw a structured assessment of this second cycle and prepare the future of our scientific network.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 November 2025 at the hameau de l'Etoile, in Saint-Martin de Londres (France), near Montpellier.

Invited talks will be given by :

  • Anna-Sophie Fiston-Lavier (ISEM, Montpellier, Transposable Elements Evolution)
  • Jean-Baptiste Grodwohl (SPHERE, Paris, History & Science Philosophy)
  • Thierry Mora (ENS, Paris, Biophysics)
  • Olivier Mazet (INSA de Toulouse, Maths)

A shuttle bus will leave from Montpellier train station on November 5th (around 1.15pm) and return on November 7th after lunch (around 2pm).

Registration is free (but compulsory) and includes all meals (lunches and diners). Accommodation on site is at the expense of the participants, and must be paid directly to the hameau when arriving on site.
